Cheongdam RETOO Clinic (Medical Director Kim Jae-rim) has newly introduced ‘ExoSmart’, an autologous exosome-based regenerative solution from Medica of Italy.

ExoSmart is a device that applies 15kDa ultrafiltration technology, an advancement on conventional PRP methods, to precisely extract and concentrate only the key regenerative components, such as exosomes, growth factors and proteins, from the patient's blood.

In this process, unnecessary substances such as salts and water are removed, leaving only high-purity bioactive elements that act directly on skin recovery, so more stable and longer-lasting results can be expected.

According to Dr. Kim, the autologous exosomes obtained with ExoSmart were found to contain a high concentration of about 30 trillion exosomes per 1mL. The expression levels of key growth factors are also reported to be significantly higher than with conventional PRP.
